YTO is a trauma-informed, community-based youth program designed to improve behavioral health outcomes and strengthen protective factors for underserved youth ages 8-17.
We saw kids in our community who just needed a chance. So we began sponsoring youth with free memberships, making sure money would never be the reason they couldn’t be part of something positive. From there, we stepped in wherever we could—covering tournament fees, providing uniforms, and supporting their journey every step of the way.
But none of this would be possible without our family at Nine 16 Martial Arts.
Their belief in these kids, their willingness to open their doors, and their commitment to building strong, disciplined, and confident young people has been the backbone of everything we do. They don’t just teach martial arts—they help shape lives. Together, we’ve created a space where kids feel safe, supported, and pushed to become better versions of themselves.
Our mission has always been clear: keep at-risk youth off the streets and give them something solid to stand on—an anchor in the middle of chaos. A place where structure, accountability, and fun all come together.
Because when a kid finds the right environment, the right mentors, and the right support system… everything can change.
This is more than a program.
This is a community effort—and we’re grateful for ever

Our Services
We provide more than programs—we provide guidance, structure, and opportunity for youth to grow into strong, confident individuals.
Youth Mentoring
At the heart of everything we do is mentorship. We build real relationships with our youth, offering guidance, accountability, and support both on and off the mat. Our mentors lead by example—teaching discipline, respect, and how to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
Martial Arts
Through our partnership with Nine 16 Martial Arts, students develop discipline, resilience, and self-control. Martial arts gives them structure, builds confidence, and provides a positive outlet for energy while teaching respect and responsibility.
Dance
Dance gives our youth a creative outlet to express themselves freely. It builds confidence, teamwork, and discipline while allowing them to have fun, stay active, and be part of something positive.
Media (Videography & Content Creation)
Our media program introduces youth to storytelling through videography and content creation. They learn real-world skills behind the camera—filming, editing, and producing—while building creativity and opening doors to future opportunities.
Together, these services create a well-rounded environment where youth are supported, challenged, and inspired to grow.
