Young Teens Opportunity (YTO) is a trauma-informed, community- based youth program serving youth ages 8-17 in Sacramento County. YTO integrates behavioral health support, academic engagement, mentorship and life skills to support youth impacted by trauma, school disengagement and instability.

PROGRAM SNAPSHOT

  • 3-5 days per week, 2-3 hours per day

YTO was developed to address a critical gap in youth services by providing an integrated, prevention-focused model that supports both behavioral health and functional outcomes. By combining structured support, consistent relationships, and skill development. YTO helps youth stabilize in the short term while strengthening long- term protective factors.
